The silly debate on who the best fighters in the world are and what order they should rank among themselves never ends. The order of the many mythical ?pound-for-pound? lists floating around in the few newspapers that have regular fight scribes, the boxing magazines, in cyberspace and in the minds of thousands of obsessed ultra-fans are as varied as any other opinion in this highly subjective sport.
But my recent placement of Manny Pacquiao (in respect to the man he defeated, Marco Antonio Barrera) and Cory Spinks has elicited a heated response from the vocal fans of the PacMan, Erik Morales, and from rational-thinking folks who just want to know why I rank fighters where they are ranked in MaxBoxing?s Pound for Pound list. Since this is a slow week, I thought I?d share my answers in the popular Mail Bag format. Read on if you have nothing better to do with your time.
