Fistic feijoada: Roach doesn?t believe in Tooth Fairy

RIO DE JANEIRO–They call it feijoada, the tradtional groaning weekly feast dish, and its the ultimate nightmare for those sensitive vegetarians.

It is composed of about 99 various cuts of meat, including some ?private parts? from the pig.

Which reminds me that I was once tempted to abandon carne completely, to go the healthy vegetarian route.

Lettuce eat only plants and veggies, the V People preach to us. But then I learned that A. Hitler was a vegetarian and it kind of killed my inspiration to eschew meat.

So I will fast for 16 hours and sample the feijoada come Saturday afternoon at Cesar Park, the tony hotel along the beach front in Copacabana. You know, when in Cebu do as the Cebuano’s and when in Rio, do as the Cariocas do.

But enough about my travelogue and all the ?dental floss?bathing suits worn by the women who frolic along Copacabana and the garotas of Ipanema.

Suffice to say there are some whose beach costume appears to be two band aids and a cork.

Can I say that on Examiner.com? Guess I just did.

Dr, Hayden Kho, X-rated videographer, would go wild, Buck Wild, down here.

I would put one of those flimsy male bathing suits but why make a complete bunda of myself if you know what I mean?

Let?s skip the old joke about no, the coconuts go in the front, Jack.

Here?s what people are buzzing about in boxing as you read this:

1. FREDDIE ROACH DOES NOT BELIEVE IN TOOTH FAIRY–Let?s mark Manny?s Mentor down as a nonbeliever who does not put his loose tooth or teeth under his pillow awaiting a rewarding visit from the Tooth Fairy. Roach just blasted Andres Kotelnik, world champ who now fights Roach pupil Amir Khan on July 18 in the UK, for postponing the title bout three weeks due to a minor dental problem.

2. FINALLY, A HEAVYWEIGHT FIGHT–But, from Rio by the sea-o to Reno, does anyone outside of Russia, Germany and the Ukraine give a flying fig about Klitschko and Ruslan Chagaev. I mean, besides huge ?White Tyson?Chagaev fans and HBO unofficial judge Happy Hal Lederman? Put me down for snooze alarm on this fight although I will try to snag it on the Internet.

3. ARUM MAKES NICE WITH ARUM–Nice of Unca Bob to report to all and sundry how easy it is for him to negotiate with himself when it comes to making the Miguel Cotto-Manny Pacquiao Nov. 14 bout. I wonder if Bob uses different voices as he negotiates only inside the Top Rank Big Tent?
