THE American lawyer hired by Manny Pacquiao has been tasked to protect the Filipino champion in his future dealings.
Nick Khan said in an overseas interview that he was empowered by Pacquiao to see to it that the Filipino champion gets a fair shake of all forthcoming transactions related to the champion?s future fights.
Kahn was hired by Pacquiao a few days after his 11th round destruction of Mexican idol Marco Antonio Barrera last November 16 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
Pacquiao?s hiring of Khan was done without informing registered manager Martin Luis Elorde and business manager Rodolfo Nazario.
