MOTORISTS are advised to avoid the route of the victory motorcade set Monday in Manila for International Boxing Federation (IBF) superbantamweight champion Manny Pacquiao.
A press statement from the Manila City Hall asked motorists to take alternate routes to and from their destination.
Mayor Joselito Atienza said a motorcade around the city will be held Monday morning. A victory party will be held in the evening at the Plaza Rajah Sulayman.
The motorcade will start before 9 a.m. after Pacquiao attends the flag-raising ceremony at Manila City Hall.
The motorcade will start at Taft Avenue in front of City Hall, cross Jones Bridge, turn right at Escolta, left to Dasmari?as Street, right to Quintin Paredes Street, right to Reina Regente Street, left to Claro M. Recto Avenue, right to Del Pan, and left to Zaragoza Street.
