In the London leg of the Marquez-Mayweather promotional tour, Floyd Junior shares his thoughts on the Pacquiao-Hatton fight and his views on the Marquez-Pacquiao encounters. Skysports mentioned Pacquiao’s one sided demolition of Hatton to Floyd Jr during his recent visit in the UK. Mayweather humbly answered that “anything can happen in the sports of boxing. Any fighter can get caught with a shot. It was a beautiful shot. But I myself laid the blueprint to beat Ricky Hatton.”
Mayweather Jr mentioned that Hatton should have retired after his first defeat. He repeatedly pointed out that Hatton failed to execute the gameplan that his dad prepared against Manny.
“Manny Pacquiao is a helluva fighter.” Floyd Jr. told British reporters. “But Im facing Marquez who really beat Pacquiao twice. Marquez won more rounds than Pacquiao in those two fights.”
The former pound for pound champion refused to answer interviewers when asked what round would he knock Pacquiao out if they meet in the ring.
