After outlanding Pacquiao 21-15 in the opening frame, Barrera was fed a steady diet of Pacquiao leather the next ten rounds. Pacquiao applied constant pressure seemingly ?flat? Barrera, landing 36 of 100 punches in round two (including 31 of 63 power shots), 34 of 86 in the third, 35 of 91 in the sixth, 34 of 80 in the eighth 39 of 95 in the ninth before closing the show vs. the now defenseless Barrera (landed just 4 of 28 punches) by landing 33 of 86 in the eleventh.
