SAN ANTONIO, Texas ? Overshadowed by the trappings of fame and fortune following Manny Pacquiao?s victory was the fact that the Filipino bomber had never gotten past 10 rounds in his eight year career.
The last time Pacquiao went 10 rounds was in October 2000 in Antipolo when he had to pick himself up from a fourth-round knockdown to hammer out a stoppage on cuts over Lebanese Nedal Hussein.
Before that he engaged Melvin Magramo in a 10-round war in Cebu some years back. His other 10-rounder was against Marlon Carillo when he was a skinny flyweight on the way up the rankings.
