Featherweight star Marco Antonio Barrera has been urged to quit the ring by his trainer.
The 29-year-old Mexican, who is widely regarded as the best in the world in his division, was sensationally beaten by Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines on Saturday in San Antonio.
Barrera put his opponent down in the opening round, but Pacquiao stormed back into the fight and floored Barrera twice before his corner threw in the towel in the 11th round.
Now trainer Rudy Perez believes there is no way back for Barrera after such a devastating defeat
