Ricky Hatton needles Manny Pacquiao: Say it loud, I’m black and I’m proud

Now that the noted psychiatrist/sociologist John David Jackson, who moonlights as the trainer for Soupy Nate Campbell, has revealed exclusively Manny Pacquiao?s total fear of all things black, especially black fight opponents, many for Manny in Pacland are all nerved up.

Now that Pacman?s hangup about black skinned foes is out, it follows that the Pinoy Idol must tremble before all things black.

Jackson, who may have gotten his head shrinking and sociology degrees from one those study at the gymnasium in your spare time diploma mills which advertise on late TV, charged in a groundbreaking article by Brett Matteo Alderson (he writes for Boxing Scene and has an actual degree from UCLA not to mention a certificate of attendance from the Columbia School of Broadcasting) that Megamanny is running scared from Campbell and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

This revelation was then dissected nicely by our San Francisco Examiner of pugilism, Colin Seymour, who deftly pointed out that Pacman is anxious to fight Money Mayweather but first must handle the pesky Hatton.

Not that there was anything self-serving about Jax?s shill job but maybe he has a point.

If he wears a cap, maybe that point won?t show.

This black phobia stunned many in Mannyland who believed, as did I, that Pacman battered coal black South African Lehlohnolo Ledwaba in his HBO ?Coming Out Party,? and that African-American and leading financial whiz Murad Muhammad was for a time Pacman?s promoter.

Given Manny?s obvious hang-up about black people, I guess no one in his camp has had the guts to tell him that black referee Kenny Bayless is handling the Ricky Hatton bout Saturday night.

Lee Beard, the ventriloquist who runs Team Hatton and tells both Ricky and Ray Hatton what to do, revealed that the Hatton camp will take full advantage of the Pacquiao phobia.

?Ricky?s ring walk music will be ?Paint It Black? by the Rolling Stones,? Beard said. ?Ricky will be dressed totally in black like Johnny Cash. And one of our lads will be carrying a lifesize photo of Shirley Temple Black. After the first song ends, just as Ricky nears the ring, we will have the remnants of the old James Brown group, the Famous Flames, positioned. As Ricky draws within 200 yards of the ring, they will start blaring James? hit, ?Say it Loud, I?m Black And I?m Proud. We will have Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rev. Al Sharpton and some other black ministers lead us in a prefight prayer. We may sneak in a quick cut from Black Sabbath as well.

?Ricky is dedicating his coming victory to Barack Obama and to all those who bet on black, not red, when they play roulette at the MGM. Our new motto is ?Black To The Future. We are calling our entire entourage, the All Blacks although Mountain Dew Mayweather is really the only non-white we have on our team, We love psyhological bambits like this and, by the bye, my real name is Fred Beard. I just use Lee as a beard name so to speak.”

This new psychological warefare gambit by the Hatton camp will shortly be probed and analyzed exclusively for Examiner.com and Boxingconfidential by Jackson, who is fast becoming known as the Dr. Freud, or is that Dr. Fraud, of big time boxing.
