Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao put on a superb performance Sunday, showing the world how to use power in boxing as he stopped Mexican featherweight great Marco Antonio Barrera in the 11th round of their 12-round non-title bout at the Alamodome here.
The aggressive Pacquiao, the International Boxing Federation (IBF) superbantamweight champion but a 5-1 underdog in the fight, knocked down the veteran, heavily favored Barrera with a left straight to the face in the third round and had him backpedalling from there with a relentless attack.
