There?s been no word yet from Dick Cole of the Texas Boxing Commission on the results of a battery of tests ordered on featherweight king Marco Antonio Barrera following confirmation that he had undergone brain surgery in 1997 when an abnormal vein was removed and a metal plate screwed inside his skull.
In an overseas telephone conversation with Viva Sports yesterday, International Boxing Federation junior featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao, who meets Barrera in a fight billed as the ?Clash of the Titans? at the Alamadome in San Antonio, Texas on Nov. 15, said they had ?received no news? on the results of the tests.
