MEXICAN featherweight hero Marco Antonio Barrera will start today in San Antonio his final preparations for his eagerly-awaited showdown with Filipino champion Manny Pacquiao.
The 29-year-old Barrera, the Baby-Faced Assassin from Mexico, collides with Pacquiao, the reigning IBF super bantamweight champion, in the main event of the ?People?s Championship? scheduled to be held on November 15 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
?Being in San Antonio two weeks early will actually benefit me as I prepare for Pacquaio,? said Barrera in a report over Fightnews.com. ?My training in Big Bear was going great, and I?m expecting even better things in San Antonio. The fans are in for a great show on November 15,? Barrera assured.
