Barrera’s career is a stellar one, and he’ll be a strong candidate for the Hall of Fame when he retires. But with Morales moving up, his two toughest opponents are Marquez and Gainer. Manny Pacquiao, the hard-punching IBF 122-pound champion, is a very possible match but honestly I think Barrera picks him apart in a lively match that would be an uphill battle for “Pac Man.” Marco is too good a boxer and would take him into deep water and drown him.
