MANILA, Philippines–World boxing champion Manny Pacquiao arrived at the Quiapo Church for a thanksgiving mass.
Pacquiao had just returned from Los Angeles at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday after defeating boxing star Oscar De La Hoya in Las Vegas last Sunday.
Pacquiao arrived at the church past 8 a.m., accompanied by Environment Secretary Lito Atienza and Deputy National Security Adviser Luis ?Chavit? Singson.
Boxing fans had also filled the church to capacity, hoping to see the pound-for-pound champion.
