(December 5) In a surprising turn of events, ticket brokers have realized that the Oscar De La Hoya vs. Manny Pacquiao fight tickets are not selling as well as they had planned.
The fight will take place on December 6th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
According to a search by TicketNews, many tickets are being sold at prices less than their face value. One broker went so far as to estimate that 60 to 70 percent of tickets available on the secondary market are offered at prices below face value.
Of the match, StubHub spokesperson Joellen Ferrer told TicketNews, ?This dream match between two of the biggest names in boxing is the sport?s Super Bowl of the year, but we have noticed that fans are a bit more conservative about their ticket purchases, especially in the midst of the holiday season.?
