MANNY ?Pacman? Pacquiao shocked the world with his complete and utter demolition of Oscar de la Hoya in front of more than 15,000 fans at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, last night. Just like I unequivocally said in two previous columns (on Nov. 24 and Dec. 1), Pacquiao was simply too fast and too strong for De la Hoya.
Pacquiao was too fast on his feet, darting forward to punish De la Hoya and then moving backward or sideways to evade any counter-punches. He was too fast with his hands, continually beating De la Hoya
