Call it shameless pandering, I do not care. Or call it shameless panda-ring and I will just go and eat some balsa wood.
But Boxingconfidential.com has learned exclusively why Floyd Mayweather Jr. retired from boxing prematurely.
Mayweather is having vision problems. His eye or eyes are not same as they used to be.
Why do I say this?
First, I am well known as a boxing visionary especially since my successful Laskik surgery of Aug. 25. Now I see my errant golf shots BEFORE they go into the deep woods at the Falmouth Country Club. Believe me, it saves so much time rather than just blindly hunting for those little white objects among the flora and the fauna.
Mayweather MUST BE having eye problems because there is no other rational explanation for his suddenly declaring that Bad Chad Dawson, who barely beat Gentleman Glen Johnson, is the world?s best fighter, pound for pound.
You can be sure his old grudge against his ex-promoter, Bob Arum, is in the mix with this Mayweather proclamation.
Of course, that was Mayweather?s mythical crown but, when he stepped out of the ring, he handed it over to Manny Pacquiao. Some would argue that Manny had the mythical title even before Mayweather went into retirement.
I provide this photo as a reminder of who the real best in the world, pound for pound and ounce for ounce, is.
He?s from the Philippines, you may have heard the name, PBF.
Manny Pacquiao, he?s THE MAN.
And I am betting dollars to doughnuts that his bout against Oscar de la Hoya is more exciting than your Businessman?s Waltz was.
Meanwhile, go get those orbs checked out, Floyd.
You may be living in the land of the blind, Mayweather, which makes any one-eyed man your king.
But the King of the Ring is Pacman.
I never knew balsa wood was so freaking tasty!
