Floyd Mayweather Sr is convinced Joan Guzman will crush Nate Campbell on Saturday night.
Guzman bids to become a three-division world champion by taking Campbell’s WBO, WBA and IBF belts in Biloxi, Mississippi.
And with a 28-0 record and a reputation for being one of the most avoided fighters around, he’ll start a clear favourite.
Mayweather Sr will be the man in Guzman’s corner as usual – and he’s certain that if everything goes according to plan the result will be in no doubt.
“If Guzman fights the way he’s supposed to fight, he’s going to put a whopping on Campbell. It’s as simple as that.
“There’s nothing left to say. Guzman will become a three-division champion on Saturday.”
Guzman meanwhile has been out of the ring for almost a year, and can’t wait to get back into big-time action.
“Nate [Campbell] and I exchanged a few insults on the way to making this fight happen. Words are just words, they don’t hurt. The real talking is done inside the ring. We’re ready for whatever Nate is going to bring. We’ve prepared well, we’ve prepared hard and we came here for the victory.
