Rey Bautista TKO 2 Eden Marquez
Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista made quick work of Mexican slugger Eden Marquez earlier today at the Waterfront hotel in Cebu, Philippines. Bautista started out cautiously against Marquez showcasing his accuracy and the power he possesses in each hand. In the second round Bautista dropped Marquez but the Mexican managed to beat the count. Another barrage dropped him for a second time and the bout was stopped by the referee at 1:08 of round two. The win saw Bautista continue on the comeback trail after a setback loss to Daniel Ponce De Leon in August 2007. With the victory over Marquez, he moves to 3-0 in his last three fights and retained his WBO regional title.
