Manny Pacquiao wants to fight Oscar dela Hoya.
How about Jinkee?
?A-yo-ko (I don?t want),? said the lovely wife of the Pinoy slugger when asked if she?s in favor of Pacquiao going up against the taller, heavier and older Dela Hoya.
?Ano ba sa tingin niyo? (What do you think?),? Jinkee asked scribes Monday evening during a grand victory party thrown by friend Chavit Singson for Pacquiao.
Jinkee seemed concerned that Dela Hoya, already a superstar even when Pacquiao was still down, is too big.
?Ang laki niya (He?s big),? she said of Dela Hoya who has fought his last few fights at light-middleweight (150 lbs). At 5?10, he is almost four inches taller than Pacquiao.
Jinkee is afraid Pacquiao might get hurt.
?Kahit si Manny ang manalo baka masaktan naman siya (Even if Manny wins he can get hurt),? added Jinkee of her husband who stands to get millions of dollars against Dela Hoya
But Pacquiao, 29, said that he?s ready to take on Dela Hoya, adding that he can handle the undisputed king of pay-per-view.
?Kaya ko yan (I can handle it),? said Pacquiao in hurling the challenge.
Again, Jinkee wouldn?t buy it.
?Ang sabi ko kay Manny, ?Sige labanan mo si Oscar pero hindi ako pupunta doon. (I told him Manny, ?Go ahead, fight Oscar but I will not be there),? she said laughing.
Jinkee is always at ringside whenever Pacquiao fights in the US, except for one of the recent fights when she was pregnant with their third child and only daughter, Princess.
