And Nate Campbell wants to fight Megamanny, especially since the triple-belted lightweight king is free to do so, not having inked a contract for his expected mandatory WBO title defense against Joan Guzman.
Campbell?s co-promoters Don King and Terry Trekas were separately burning up Pacman promoter Bob Arum?s phone lines Monday but both got only the deaf ear treatment from the Top Rank top honcho.
It?s been expect that Showtime will top bill Campbell-Guzman for Sept. 13 but neither fighter has signed any agreement and there seems to be a gap between King/Trekas and Sycuan Ringside as to the venue.
