REALITY: PACMAN NEVER FOUGHT BLACKS!

BLACK FIGHTERS NOT ON PAC’S RESUME

San Francisco, CA- The Pacnuts, the cult followers of top ten ?pound for pound? fighter Manny Pacquiao recently made some statements in the RingTalk.com blogosphere in regards to Manny fighting ?black? fighters. For the record, even though Lehlo Ledwaba, the man Manny trounced for the IBF 122 lb. title in 2001 is an African born in Soweto, South Africa, he is NOT a black fighter in the minds of anybody but those Pacnuts.

LEHLO?S SKIN PIGMENT LONE BLACK TRAIT

Ledwaba, a retired boxer since 2006, hasn?t been much since Pacquiao ruined him inside of six fistic frames. But the African is a fighter who never fought black per se. When we so-called boxing experts, purists, refer to somebody fighting black, we think of Ray Leonard, Muhammad Ali, current recognized World light weight king Nate Campbell, and even a guy Pac has avoided like the HIV virus, Dominican star and WBO 130 lb. champ Joan Guzman.

LEDWABA FOUGHT LIKE WHITE EUROPEAN

Ledwaba didn?t have the skills or moxie of a black fighter. His footwork was as fluid as a man walking with buckets of cement as shoes. Never a ?speed? demon, Lehlo was not only slow off the gun, he pushed his combinations rather than throw them. On the speed scale of 1-10, the African merited a 6.5. So when I read the Pacnut blogs and their claim that Manny had indeed beaten a black fighter in Ledwaba, I felt compelled to correct them.

PACNUTS READY FOR TASTE OF REALITY?

Real World lightweight champion Nate Campbell is as black as a fighter can get. He has fast hands, good footwork, can punch a little, this in addition to his having a little ?ghetto? in him. The latter is something most black fighters have as they tend to have grown up in some of the rougher neighborhoods as we know it. And like Ali, Leonard, and even current 130 lb. kingpin Joan Guzman, they have an attitude that separates them from fighters like the aforementioned Lehlo Ledwaba.

SLOW MEXICAN PUGS NOT BLACK!

Pacman has built his aura of invincibility by beating “tired” Mexican fighters. Said Nate Campell on the May 11 edition of Ring Talk Radio, “he’s only fought slow, over the hill Mexicans.” David Diaz, Pacquiao’s opponent for late June, he has no remarkable skills. His hand speed is pedestrian, as is his footwork. And the fact that he barely, and I mean barely beat Erik Morales, this is the sole reason Pac is testing the 135 lb. waters with him. If he were to fight Campbell, Manny would struggle to hit Campbell in the ass sans a tennis racket.

PACNUTS NEED PUGILISTIC EDUCATION

Which brings me to this conclusion: Manny Pacquiao has yet to fight a black fighter in the true sense. He has never beaten men with faster hands than he, guys that could run off four and five punch salvos as Guzman can. Nor has ever gone head to head with a fighter with footwork like Ali, Leonard, or yes, Guzman. In closing, there is a reason why Manny cannot spell Joan or even Guzman, it?s because he can?t beat a fighter who truly fights black!
