Filipino boxing hero Manny Pacquiao is confident that WBC lightweight champion David Diaz will be no match for his speed.
In preparing for his June 28 showdown with Diaz, Pacquiao said he has no plan to change his training regimen.
?I will go through my usual training,” he said in the vernacular. But he adds, “My advantage is my speed.”
Pacquiao, however, said he does not neglect his training as Diaz can not be underestimated.
“I will prioritize my training,” he said.
So focused is Pacquiao that he chose to play basketball in a neighborhood court over gracing a send-off party at his home in General Santos City Saturday.
Basketball, apparently, is one of the ways the boxer maintains his condition.
