It’s time to fish or cut bait for Joel Casamayor and his promoter, Golden Boy Promotions.
WBO President Paco Valcarcel has just ordered a purse bid for Casamayor and lightweight champion Nate “Galaxxy Warrior” Campbell.
The purse bid will take place on Friday, May 23, at the WBO headquarters in Puerto Rico.
It is expected that Campbell promoter Don King and Golden Boy will both bid but that GBP may do the purse bid limbo meaning they will try to go as low as they can go on the bid.
Golden Boy may prefer to make a fight between Casamayor and the fighter who had the WBA, IBF and WBO belts taken away from him by Campbell, Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz.
This could be nifty, drama fans.
