Three years later, in 2019, Khan stepped up again—this time against Terence Crawford at Madison Square Garden, during a stretch where few top names were willing to cross the street due to the promotional situation between Top Rank and PBC to face the unbeaten Omaha native. Crawford controlled the bout and won by sixth-round TKO.
