Zhilei Zhang has retained the WBO Interim World Heavyweight title after knocking Joe Joyce out in the third round of their rematch at the Ovo Arena on Saturday.
The Chinese boxer looked the stronger fighter in the opening rounds, taking control of the bout in the second round to land several powerful blows on Joyce before knocking him to the canvas at the end of the third round.
It was a textbook shot from the world champion who timed his punch perfectly to connect a huge right hook to Joyce’s head.
