Coming off the signature victory of his career — a brilliant ninth-round TKO of Errol Spence Jr. last month — Terence Crawford has made it clear that Jermell Charlo is next in his sights.
“Bud” knows that Charlo is challenging for Canelo Alvarez’s undisputed super middleweight championship on September 30, but that isn’t stopping him from targeting “Iron Man.”
Crawford took to his Instagram account and let everyone know that he “Caught the big fish, now I’m hunting the lil cub @twincharlo.”
To that, Charlo responded: “Hahahaha Very Entertaining. U know it’s big ting here. Let’s get it.”
Later on, seeing Charlo make the rounds on the media circuit in promotion of the looming Canelo fight, Crawford actually gave him a compliment:
