Melvin Jerusalem (19-2) gets the biggest fight of his life as he is set to challenge Japanese champion Masataka Taniguchi (16-3) for the WBO World Minumweight belt. The fight has been set on January 6, 2023 in Osaka, Japan.
Jerusalem himself is all smiles on hearing the news. “This is what I’ve been waiting for my whole career. It is a make or break opportunity. I will make sure I’ll be on tiptop condition on fight night. I will prepare myself to have enough gas for fifteen rounds just to make sure. This is it.
