Don’t Mess with Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson used to punch guys in airports for sport. The one-time “Baddest Man on the Planet” has managed to tame the beast, which took some doing, turning the man-eater into the pussycat we know today. But change is inevitable. Nothing lasts forever. According to TMZ Sports, the former heavyweight champion of the world turned marijuana evangelist punched a fellow airline passenger several times in the face on a Jet Blue flight from San Francisco to Florida. This fellow passenger was seated right behind Tyson. He was making noise, making faces, causing a ruckus., making Mike mad. A world-class jerk versus a world-class boxer is a mismatch. But some mosquitoes are begging to be squished. This one was either too drunk to care or notice that he was bugging the champ.

Fame may last a lifetime, infamy surely does, but it seems as if every nobody wants a selfie with somebody, to either impress their friends, bolster their self-worth, to see if Tyson is as tough as they say.

The stewardesses didn’t duct tape Mike Tyson. Why endanger the passengers and crew?

A spokesman for the budding cannabis entrepreneur said, “Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat.”

Maybe the future plaintiff thought Tyson was thirsty.

According to TMZ, “The incident all went down at around 10:30 PM PT as Tyson was slated to fly out of San Francisco International Airport to Florida. Sources close to Mike claim the man was extremely intoxicated … and wouldn’t stop provoking the boxer in his seat.”

Provoking Mike Tyson is a bad idea, especially on an airplane where there’s nowhere to run or hide. A passenger who videotaped the dustup summed up the action. “My boy just got beat up by Mike Tyson,” he said. “Yeah, he got fucked up.”
