It could not be determined how much Pacquiao is going to get as part of his share in the PPV revenue and ticket sales although it was stipulated in the fight contract that the Filipino sensation is guaranteed a cut.
HBO aired the card dubbed “Will To Win” at $ 44.95 per subscription in US households.
San Antonio boxing writer John Whisler said because of the tremendous response of residents of San Antonio Top Rank chairman Bob Arum is leaving the door open for the possibility of bringing Pacquiao to the Alamo State for a March appearance.
The Express News said 3,800 households subscribed to the Oct. 6 PPV slugfest
Pacquiao was guaranteed a purse of $ 2 million (about P90 million) in his fight against Barrera but his income from the bout will more than double counting the other benefits such as RP broadcast rights, PPV share, sale of souvenir items and others.
