LAS VEGAS ? Edwin Valero, the sensational knockout artist from Venezuela, wants Manny Pacquiao.
The 25-year-old boxer with dynamite fists said he wasn?t impressed with Pacquiao?s performance Saturday night at Mandalay Bay.
He said he can fight Pacquiao anytime next year, probably in Macau, China or even in the US if ever he gets his medical clearance.
?All speed and no power,? he said of Pacquiao.
Valero has won all his 22 fights via knockout. He knocked out his first 18 opponents in the first round with his longest fight lasting 10 rounds.
?Yes, I can fight him,? said Valero who is banned from fighting in the US for once failing a medical in New York.
Previous tests alleged that he was suffering from a kind of brain damage sustained in a motorcycle accident a few years back.
But the way he?s been sweeping his opponents off the ring shows otherwise.
An hour after the fight, he roamed the casino area with a female companion, and visited a gift shop selling Pacquiao-Barrera fight shirts.
He held up one of them and threw his left fist at Pacquiao?s image.
Valero is a flamboyant super-featherweight like Pacquiao.
Though they haven?t come face to face, there?s already bad blood between Valero and Pacquiao.
The Filipino once said he?s not afraid of Valero because most of his victims were ?tricycle driver.?
But Valero was unfazed, challenging Pacquiao to take on him.
?That way we?ll know who the tricycle driver is,? he said.
