Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 17) — From boxing champ, to senator, and now — a wax figure. Fighting Senator Manny Pacquiao is working with Madame Tussauds to have his own wax figure displayed at the wax museum in Hong Kong.
The popular museum shared the news on Tuesday.
“What better way to welcome the Pinoy boxing champ’s birthday than with a wax figure reveal! Yes, Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao is the newest addition to our pool of Filipino wax figures in Madame Tussauds Hong Kong!” Madame Tussauds wrote on Instagram.
It was also revealed that Pacquiao has started his fittings, including the meticulous measurement of his fighting stance and game-face scowl.
It will be unveiled in 2020. His wax figure will join fellow Filipino pride, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, in the Hong Kong branch of the museum.
