Officially cancelled on Friday afternoon, the bout between Juan Manuel Marquez and Ricardo “Rocky” Juarez is rumored to be re-scheduled sometime in December of this year. A source close to Golden Boy Promotions, promoter to both men, informs Boxing Confidential that Marquez is still in Los Angeles and will be discussing the re-scheduling of the bout today.
An announcement regarding the re-scheduling of Juarez and Marquez, along with the entire undercard which included Sergio Mora vs. Kassim Ouma and Steve Forbes vs. Francisco “Panchito” Bojado, could be made as early as today.
