Reports coming out from many sources indicate that the showdown between two former champions, two-time world champ Fernando Vargas and three-time world champ Ricardo Mayorga has been postponed indefinitely because Vargas has some sort of a blood disorder. Vargas is apparently anemic and the condition was diagnosed by his doctor who was consulted as a result of Vargas not feeling up to par recently.
The two former champions were due to duke it out on September 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Efforts to reach the Vargas camp has been unsuccessful to get a first hand update on this sad news but the news has been burning the internet since early today when the news broke.
