World champion Jerwin Ancajas is beginning to fall in love with the San Francisco Bay Area.
?The weather is perfectly fine,? Ancajas said yesterday after working out at his hotel?s in-house fitness facility in Oakland, site of his sixth defense of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) super-flyweight crown against Alejandro Santiago of Mexico on Sept. 28 at the Oracle Arena.
?This kind of weather will help me adjust,? added Ancajas, who wore a Golden State Warriors jersey during a light workout.
The cool ocean breeze, Ancajas believes, should help him get accustomed to the local conditions as he heads into the final days of his training.
