Matthysse?s biggest catch could be Pacquiao

Whenever Lucas Matthysse is afforded a break from beakbusting, he spends most of his time doing what he loves best: fishing.

One time, Matthysse, here in Manila to promote his first defense of the World Boxing Association welterweight crown against Manny Pacquiao on July 15 in Malaysia, caught a salmon and a smile appeared on his face.

?This big,? said Matthysse, demonstrating with his two hands how big the catch?a salmon?was.

Matthysse said the length was 16-18 inches and that made his day.

So, in-between fights, the Argentine puncher is into angling.

However, Matthysse said that he might end up getting his biggest catch in about three months when he travels to Kuala Lumpur.

Everyone in the room laughed.

Matthysse asks Pacquiao to do a selfie

Just before they parted ways after the customary staredown, Lucas Matthysse dug into his pocket and asked Manny Pacquiao to remain still for a second.

Pacquiao, who aims to dethrone Matthysse as the World Boxing Associaton welterweight king on July 15 in Kuala Lumpur, obliged and Matthysse was quick to the draw.

Matthysse raised his hand and took a selfie with Pacquiao.

It was over in a few seconds that photographers who were a few meters from them cried for Matthysse to reenact it.

But Pacquiao was already being led to a group of mediamen that Matthysse was unable to do it again.

Apparently, Matthysse has high respects for Pacquiao, who he describes as legend.
