CEBU, Philippines – Everything is all set for the staging of Who?s Next? 3 Pro Boxing Series powered by the all new Tucson this Friday at the Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Complex.
Headlining the event is Jhack Tepora of the Omega Boxing Gym, who guns for the vacant WBO Oriental junior featherweight championship against Galih Susanto of Indonesia.
Susanto arrived from Jakarta yesterday and immediately declared that he was ready to get it going and take the title back to Indonesia.
?We are well-prepared and will give it our best on Friday,? Susanto said. He was accompanied by his trainer Aryo Umbaran.

For his part, Tepora said after Milan Melindo?s winning the interim IBF light flyweight championship, he too was raring to see action. ?Congratulations kang Milan Melindo sa pagdaug niya sa IBF world championship. Excited na sad ta mo saka sa ring karong Biyernes,? Tepora quipped.
Also seeing action are Omega Boxing Gym?s Kenny Demecillo who defends his WBF Asia Pacific bantamweight championship against Jestoni Autida (Penalosa Stable), and the undefeated Christian Araneta (Omega Boxing Gym) who faces Philip Luis Cuerdo (Penalosa Stable). A special attraction is the second Cebu fight of ex-Olympian Mark Anthony Barriga who goes up against Rodel Kirk Pelenio of the Ablaca Stable.
Meanwhile, WBO Asia Pacific Chairman Leon Panoncillo announced the officials for the title fight. The fight supervisor is Sawaeng Thaweekon of Thailand. The referee will be Tony Pesons, while the judges assigned were Edgar Olalo, Edwin Barrientos and Teddy Alivio.
The official weigh-in and press conference will be held tomorrow at the Parkmall.
Omega Pro Sports International also revealed that it has renewed its ties with GMA which will air Who?s Next? 3 on a delayed basis over GMA News TV.
Moreover, they declared that event will be open for free to the general public with doors opening as early as 5 p.m. Also on hand to spice up the event is the performance of a live band and a host of raffle draws for the crowd in what is expected to be a unique boxing experience for fans.
