Manny Pacquiao was ruthless and back to his old fiery self in the days leading up to his departure for the US, according to the Filipino?s Canadian adviser Mike Koncz. ?He was fast, furious and he was fabulous,? said Koncz on the eve of team Pacquiao?s departure for Los Angeles to kick off the last phase of his training camp for the Nov. 5 clash with Jessie Vargas at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Koncz says the decision to import Jose Ramirez from the US was a major move as the unbeaten California native moved and punched like Vargas.
Pacquiao and his entourage fly to the US late Saturday night and he will report to the Wild Card in Hollywood on Monday.
Pacquiao is the huge favorite in the world welterweight title showdown that is being put up by Bob Arum?s Top Rank and Pacquiao?s very own MP Promotions. Based on what he has seen, Koncz feels that Pacquiao is ready to rumble!
