CEBU, Philippines – The undefeated Omega Boxing Gym stalwart Jhack ?The Golden Boy? Tepora (17-0, 12KOs) promised to make an impression when the defends his WBO Asia Pacific Youth super bantamweight title against fellow countryman Bryan Capangpangan (10-2-1, 7KOs) in the main event of the second edition of ?Who?s Next?? Pro Boxing Series on July 30 at Robinsons Galleria Cebu.
?I am pumped up for this fight. I doubled my work in training because this is my first title defense and I have no plan of giving away my belt,? said Tepora, who showed that he has reached his optimum fighting form in a five-round public sparring with his stablemate Tomjune Mangubat the other day at Robinsons Galleria.
?I want to execute our game plan but if opportunity comes, I will hesitate to go for a knockout,? Tepora added.
The 23-year-old Tepora will make his first defense of the WBO regional belt he claimed after a spectacular fifth round KO of Arnel Tinampay during the maiden edition of the ?Who’s Next?’ slugfest last March 6 at Robinsons Galleria.
“I am always confident in Jhack’s skills but we wont be careless because this guy (Capangpangan) has power,? said Tepora?s older brother and trainer Christopher Tepora. ?He has finished close to 100 rounds of sparring and I can say that my brother is battle ready for this one.?

Tepora is up against Capangpangan, who is on a two-fight winning run capped by a lopsided unanimous decision of Michael Bastasa last March 27 in Iligan City.
In the supporting bout of the slambang show powered by the all-new 2016 Hyundai Tucson, Kenny Demecillo (10-3, 7KOs) will put his World Boxing Federation Asia Pacific bantamweight crown on the line against Mindanao brawler Eugene ?Rambo? Lagos (8-1 5KOs).
