Prince Albert Pagara is ready to rumble with Mexican slugger Cesar Juarez after the rising Filipino star easily conquered the scales during the official weighin yesterday in Daly City, California.
Juarez also came in at 121.2 lbs as the two fighters finally get it on today at the San Mateo Events Center, just 15 miles from where they weighed in at the Serramonte Mall.
Dubbed Pinoy Pride 37: Fists of the Future, the Pagara-Juarez showdown will be the second card in the US being put up by ALA Boxing, a Cebu-based promotional outfit named by the father-and-son tandem of Tony and Michael Aldeguer.
Also seeing action underneath the Pagara-Juarez scuffle will be Albert?s elder brother Jason, who clashes with Mexican Abraham Alvarez in a welter war set for ten rounds.
Aldeguer is looking forward to a rousing success as he gets ready to do his third promotion on US soil on Sept. 24 with world light-fly king Donnie Nietes returning to the StubHub Center in Carson, a city on the outskirts of Los Angeles.
In October last year, Aldeguer had his baptism of fire when Nietes headlined a card at the StubHub.
