Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano said there is a possibility for Senator-Elect Manny Pacquiao to be an international ambassador of goodwill, a report on Unang Balita on Tuesday said.
In an interview, Cayetano said Pacquiao?s international acclaim as a boxer could be very well of use when it comes to foreign affairs.
?To be fair kay Manny, napakaraming pinag-usapan and one of the things we are proud of is that he can really be the international ambassador of goodwill,? Cayetano said.
Regarding Pacquiao?s interest in heading the Senate Public Works Committee, Cayetano said they have yet to finalize the lineup.
?There are discussions pero we will come up with the complete lineup para makita lahat,? he said.
Earlier, Pacquiao was reportedly seen signing a document pledging his support for Cayetano?s bid for the Senate presidency.
