According to a report in the August 9 edition of the Daily Mail.com, there are worries for boxing legend and super popular Ricky Hatton after he sent a desperate message to fans saying ‘I have nothing left’ during online meltdown
Ricky sent the message from his home in Tenerife, Spain just after midnight on Saturday. Reportedly, the 37-year-old Hatton is said to be struggling after a series of arguments with his fianc?e
Long after the Pacquiao loss and his subsequent meltdown, the beloved Ricky said, ‘I know that the drink and everything else was killing me?.the depression which followed not only that defeat by Pacquiao but all the bingeing took me to the brink of suicide. That won?t happen again.?
His only two career losses – aside from an ill-advised comeback fight in 2012 – were against Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.
He now works as a boxing promoter.
Let?s hope Ricky is ok and that at its worst, this is nothing more than a temporary letdown..
