Trainer extraordinaire, Freddie Roach, said he does in fact expect to be in Manny Pacquiao’s corner for the Pacman’s fight April 14 against Jorge Solis at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX.
“I plan on flying in-and-out,” said Roach. “Me and Manny are in constant communication … I talk to him every night and set up his sparring sessions for the next day.”
Roach is currently in Puerto Rico, where he is training Oscar De La Hoya for his fight May 5th fight against Floyd Mayweather, jr.
Pacquiao will put his WBC International super featherweight title on the line against Solis, who is undefeated with a record of 32-0-2, 23KOs.
