Getting ready to go. It’s fight time. I love Boxing!!!!?Bronco Billy Wright
This past week, Bronco Billy Wright upped his record to 51-4, 42 KOs with a quick first round destruction of Wilfredo German ?La Pantera? Arce out of Paraguay. A crunching left hook to the liver did the trick.
The WBC FECARBOX Heavyweight Title and the WBC Latino Heavyweight title were retained by the 51-year-old, trimmed down 305 pound Wright. It was Billy?s twenty second win in a row with the last 18 coming well within the distance and the last 9 coming in the first round.
Bronco Billy was away from boxing from 1999-2007 and then again from 2007-2011 and while the level of his opposition could be much better and while most of his fights have been in Bolivia, Billy has done what Roy Jones Jr. could not do. He has found a comfortable groove that allows him to fly to beautiful Bolivia, train with his amigos, dine on the great cuisine and then, after winning, celebrate and return to his loved ones
Roy found this groove as well but then overreached and was hammered. My sense is that Billy is too smart for that and will continue to fight and win in Bolivia or Chile until HE decides to quit.
