It?s not exactly mission impossible, but Mexican challenger Juan Alejo remains hopeful his life will undergo a dramatic change beginning on the night of Oct. 17 in Carson, California.
Alejo, who even ace Mexican fight scribes hardly know, will attempt to dethrone Donnie Nietes as World Boxing Organization (WBO) light-flyweight king at the StubHub Center.
?I will be in a difficult fight but I am preparing like never before because I am facing the best light-flyweight in the world in the biggest fight of my life,? said Alejo from his training headquarters in Nuevo Leon.
?Nietes has a fighter with a just a few flaws and there is little margin for error (when I fight him),? said the 31-year-old Alejo, who has a 27-3 card with 19 KOs.
?A win over Nietes will change my life,? added Alejo.
