It looks like Erik Morales will return to the ring. After two consecutive knockout losses at the hands of Manny Pacquiao, Fernando Beltran, manager of Morales, informed Bernardo Pilatti and Miguel Angel Cebreros of Notifight that Morlaes will return against WBC lightweight interim champion David Diaz.
If the fight goes through, this would mark Morales’ second venture into the land of lightweights, his first being a defeat at the hands of Zahir Raheem

The World Boxing Organization has called a purse bid for a bout between their bantamweight champion Jhonny Gonzalez and number one contender Irene Pacheco. The bid will take place today at the WBO headquarters in Puerto Rico.
