After defeating Carlos Baldomir this past Saturday, Floyd Mayweather Jr’s focus has turned to Oscar De La Hoya. However the fight may not happen, at least not the way Mayweather is demanding it go down his way or no way.
Mayweather feels he is the main attraction, telling the media on Saturday: “When you go to a Lakers game, you don’t care who the Lakers are playing – you come to see Kobe (Bryant). When you come to a Floyd Mayweather fight, you come to see Floyd Mayweather.”
Mayweather then added in regards to a fight with De La Hoya, that it will be on his terms and if the fight doesn’t happen, Mayweather will fight someone else and then retire.
Mayweather added: “It’s got to be on my terms, or the (De La Hoya) fight won’t happen. I’ll fight somebody else, and it’s adios, amigos.”
