The unbeaten Ruenroeng, 35, is best remembered by local fight fans as the tricky fighter who defeated Chinese Olympic legend Zou Shiming last March in Macau.
Casimero holds a 21-2 card with 13 KOs, while Ruenroeng totes a 15-0 slate with five KOs.
?Casimero has a very big chance,? said Gello-ani, who will meet up with his fighter in Bangkok.
Casimero?s world title shot was arranged by his Argentinian agent Sampson Lewkowicz.
The flyweight division is a storied weight class of Filipino punchers with a long list of renowned champions that include Pancho Villa, Erbito Salavarria, Frank Cedeno, Dodie Penalosa, and of course, Pacquiao.
Gello-ani said the Casimero-Ruenroeng showdown will likely be beamed live to the country as negotiations will begin anytime soon.
