About 11,500 fans bought tickets to Friday?s sold-out weigh-in, where passionate Filipinos cheered wildly for their beloved countryman and booed Floyd Mayweather Jr. loudly. Manny Pacquiao played to the crowd, while Mayweather was all business a day before their long-awaited showdown.
Those without weigh-in tickets never stopped trying to get close to the MGM Grand Garden Arena entrances, even after fire marshals made anyone without proof of admission disperse.
As the days go by, MGM Grand gets more and more crowded. People are worried there will be crowd control issues as people leave the arena after the fight.
