With each passing day, Manny Pacquiao’s camp looks a little more crowded. First, it was Tim Tebow who stopped by Pacquiao’s training grounds in March. And on Saturday, Pacquiao was greeted by another high-profile guest. This time, it was actor Mark Wahlberg.
Pacquiao tweeted a photo of the two together at Wild Card Boxing Club in Los Angeles.
In 2010, Wahlberg portrayed professional boxer Micky Ward in The Fighter, a film that took home two Academy Awards after being nominated for seven. Wahlberg is also apparently a big fan of boxing. After the Fight of the Century was announced earlier this year, Wahlberg told TMZ that he was “so glad” Floyd Mayweather and Pacquiao were able to reach an agreement on the fight.
And with his Saturday visit, Wahlberg might have hinted at who he’ll be pulling for on May 2.
